Angelica M. Mercado is a New Jersey family law attorney with the law firm of Einhorn, Barbarito, Frost, Botwinick, Nunn & Musmanno, P.C., dedicating her practice to all aspects of divorce, custody, support, and domestic violence matters. Angelica presently serves as a Trustee for the Hispanic Bar Association of New Jersey and on the Board of the Association of Latino Professionals of America — New Jersey. Angelica frequently presents on subjects pertaining to domestic violence and family law litigation, including CLEs with the Practising Law Institute, Lawline, Quimbee, American Association of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML), and myLawCLE.

Angelica is a graduate of the Seton Hall University Schools of Law and Diplomacy, where she obtained a dual Juris Doctor and Master of Arts, and where, as a clinical student, she contributed substantially to the amicus brief filed on behalf of the Center for Constitutional Rights in the matter of Acoli v. New Jersey State Parole, 273 A.3d 426 (2022) and successfully obtained asylum on behalf of a client fleeing political persecution. Upon her graduation, Angelica was honored by the Clinical Legal Education Association for her outstanding contributions to the University’s clinical programs. Prior to joining Einhorn Barbarito, Angelica clerked in the New Jersey Superior Court, Chancery Division, Family Part, where she was responsible for the research and drafting of legal opinions relative to the matrimonial and domestic violence matters before the Court. Since 2022, Angelica has been recognized as a family law “Rising Star” by Thomson Reuters.
